The unit operates at 24 V DC from a 2200 mAh battery, charged from AC 110–230 V. PWM meters the current. The LCD reports status; an AC/DC switch selects operating mode.
Minerals help control algae and support biofilm control, which lowers day-to-day chlorine demand. Copper acceptable range 0.4–0.6 ppm; pH acceptable 7.0–7.8. A residual of free chlorine stays in the program.
